JJ CHRYSTAL DESIGN

JJ Chrystal is a graphic designer/art director specializing in brand identity, print publications, and marketing communications. With more than 20 years experience working with design firms and clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas, his work has been noted for it’s witty concepts, clarity, and visual appeal.

JJ began his career in Buffalo, N.Y. designing book covers for a publisher of educational and scientific books. He then moved to the Baltimore-Washington area where he has worked with a number of design firms and advertising agencies serving clients in the Arts, Education, Real-estate, and Information Technology industries.

Currently JJ is the Art Director at the University of Baltimore, where he leads a design team creating branding campaigns, recruitment materials and marketing pieces, while at the same time serving his own clients and producing independent work.
